Frieze Masters
2024 - 2022
London
Over three consecutive years, I led the stand design for Lullo Pampoulides at Frieze Masters in London, with a particular focus on audience experience. My goal was to create environments where visitors could immerse themselves in the artworks, reflecting the gallery’s ethos of blending contemporary aesthetics with classical elements to engage a wider audience.
In 2024, I introduced a home-like atmosphere, incorporating bookshelves, a plush carpet, and soft lighting to create a warm and inviting space that allowed visitors to envision the artworks in their own homes.
In 2023, the stand was centred around two key elements: a grid-like sculpture installation facing a composite wall of master paintings. This setup aimed to foster a dialogue between the shapes and textures of the sculptures and the perspective of the paintings.
In 2022, my focus was on creating a harmonious layout that highlighted the gallery’s exceptional collection of Old Master paintings and sculpture. The composite wall served as the stand’s focal point, complemented by carefully chosen materials to evoke a sense of elegance and historical depth.
